We are currently hiring a Middle Office Senior Analyst (f/m/d). This position is based in our Frankfurt office.
You will be part of the European Corporate Actions & Reconciliation Team and will be responsible for different missions promoting Corporate Actions oversight, Proxy Voting, Cash Management, oversight of Reconciliations of Front Office books with various third parties, oversight of our outsourced Middle Office, close monitoring of Cash level within sensitive portfolio.
Team members are located across multiple locations in Europe. You might also be asked to travel to European destinations.
What you will do
- Act as an expert/senior Corporate Actions & Proxy voting analyst - oversight of the whole Corporate Actions value chain from our external Middle Office provider and various operational tasks for Proxy voting activity (instruction entry, accounts opening, reporting etc)
- Act as the key contact person to coordinate and perform operational activities on a sensitive list of accounts
- Participate as SME in various projects/initiatives related to workflow enhancements, process improvements with our external provider and participate in enhancing new target models
- Lead and steer meetings with various stakeholders of different seniority levels
- Think out of the box to find pragmatic solutions in case of blocking points with ‘can do’ attitude
- Manage and oversee the relationship with our external provider to ensure a sustainable and stable quality of service.
- Oversee requests from Client Account Managers/Portfolio Managers including coordination/execution of related actions.
- Daily oversight of cash and stock reconciliations in Front Office systems/coordinate investigations with our provider.
- Lead oversight of third parties’ quality of service (Custodians, Transfer Agent etc) to identify and escalate incidents, follow-up the remedial actions and coordinate the loss event/claims process.
- Monitoring of books reopening processes on sensitive accounts to guarantee accurate data postings
- Process and monitor sensitive transactions in our systems (capstocks, dividends, fees etc).
- Follow-up the lifecycle of Funds/Mandates (creation, mergers, liquidations etc).
- Manage and/or escalate conflicts, issues with respective stakeholders, being proactive.
- Build a collaborative working relationship with internal and external clients.
- Cross training with other team members located in London, Frankfurt, Paris and potentially in US and Asia.
- Review, maintain and enhance processes and procedures (this includes documentation and promotion).
- Continuous improvement of process in an Expert/Business Analysis capacity – identification of process improvement areas, structuring of the solution and project management of the solution implementation
- Travelling in Europe from time to time could be requested
What you bring
- Significant Experience in Corporate Action
- Significant experience in Reconciliations (cash and securities)
- Experience in Proxy Voting
- Experience as Subject Matter Expert in various projects
- Investment Accounting experience/knowledge would be a plus
- Work experience in an operational position in the financial industry, preferably in an investment-related area.
- Ability to resolve complex problems, delivery focused and well organized
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various functions such as Portfolio Management, Client Account, Service providers …
- Client focused and rigorous while performing tasks.Excellent analytical, communicational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and escalate at the right time

- Positive and self-motivated team player willing to work in a diverse and challenging environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capability in English is mandatory.
- Fluent in French, German, Italian would be a plus
- Professional in Microsoft Office (in particular Excel); Bloomberg AIM.
- Digitalization experience & automation skills (VBA knowledge…) is a plus
