The Opportunity
Our location in Columbus, OH, currently has an opportunity for a Social Content Planner, Adult Nutrition for our Internal Agency in our Nutrition Division. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. The Social Content Planner role plays a key leadership role within the Social Experience Team within the internal creative agency, Creative & Digital Services (CDS). The Social Content Planner, reporting to the Head of Social Experience, is responsible for developing and executing strategic content plans across social media platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. This role blends creativity with data-driven insights to craft compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences and align with business objectives.
What You'll Work On
Content Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement comprehensive social media content strategies aligned with brand goals and audience insights.
Create and manage editorial calendars to ensure consistent and timely content delivery across platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Media, PA, Brand, MLR etc) to align content with broader marketing campaigns.
Identify content themes, formats, and storytelling opportunities that drive engagement and performance.
Expert knowledge of digital trends and channel best practices as well as foundational strategic frameworks such as purchase funnel, feasibility matrices, and content matrices.
Advocate for new media technologies/capabilities that have a synergistic fit into the Brand’s marketing mix.
Content Creation & Oversight
Lead the content creation process from concept to execution, including copywriting, visual direction, and production coordination.
Ensure all content is on-brand, optimized for each platform, and adheres to best practices.
Partner with designers, videographers, and influencers to produce high-quality, engaging social content.
Review and approve content assets, ensuring strategic alignment and creative excellence.
Performance & Optimization
Monitor content performance using analytics tools and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Conduct A/B testing and content experiments to improve engagement and conversion rates.
Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging trends to inform strategy.
