Our Talent Technology team is looking for a Workday Sr. Analyst/Lead to support RSM’s Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence. This exiting role will support the team to lead, develop, and deploy new initiatives for our global talent stakeholders while executing stabilization efforts needed for our recently deployed environment. This is an exciting new role where the ideal candidate has experience transforming legacy systems into streamlined and robust programs that allow RSM to continue scaling and growing globally while offering exceptional talent experiences. This high visibility role will interact with executive stakeholders, have a large impact across the enterprise, and be responsible for introducing cutting edge techniques and driving user adoption with various talent stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise and leadership for strategic initiatives, projects, enhancements, and day to day support for assigned Technology Portfolio.
  • Provide Workday product expertise in the areas of Recruiting, Onboarding and Workforce Planning. Liaise and develop technology solutions with other Workday team members that support the broader HR portfolio..
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices and partner with COE(s) to understand pain points, prioritize requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiency by leveraging Workday functionality. Creates creative technology solutions to match COE needs with business process and requirements.
  • Create and maintain clear, comprehensive, documented business requirements for requested changes, enhancements, or projects; accountable for articulating functional processes from beginning to end and providing thought leadership on functionality and design.
  • Maintain awareness of Workday future releases / roadmap and the potential impact of those plans on current and future Workday functionality.
  • Ensure day-to-day systems support is balanced with strategic enhancements and projects.
  • Responsible for the thorough testing and analysis of new Workday features and functionality and participates in release planning, accountable for regression testing, unit testing, User Acceptance testing and pre-launch testing / sign-off for new features or enhancements.
  • Work closely with COE(s), third party vendors and Talent Technology Integration Team for integration creation, updates and testing and production support.  

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of previous experience in HRIS and project management including analysis, stakeholder engagement, and documentation and change championing.
  • 3+ years of proven success driving business process implementation.
  • 3+ years of experience with Workday functional configuration across the HCM Suite of modules. (Benefits, Talent and Performance, Absence and Time-Tracking, Recruiting, Core HCM, Payroll, Security etc.) supporting a large sized business.
  • Proven Workday functional expertise - an awareness of what Workday can and cannot do, and the ability to correctly guide stakeholders towards the path of delivered functionality alignment.
  • Be resourceful and have a knack for navigating challenges independently; have strong prioritization skills, communication skills, and good judgment.
  • Strong sense of personal accountability for high quality, value-driven work that supports business outcomes; uses design thinking principals. 
  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in HR, Business, Project Management, MIS or related field preferred OR a significant amount of directly related work experience beyond the minimum required for the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one of the following Certifications Workday Recruiting, HCM, Workday Time Tracking, Workday Compensation, etc.
  • Proven engagement and connections with Workday Community and other members
  • Experience transforming legacy systems and processes into cutting edge workday techniques and technologies.
