The Pharmacy Reimbursement Coordinator is a key member of the pharmacy team, conducting research; performing audits; managing data; and consolidating, analyzing and performing cost-benefit and trend analyses. The incumbent effectively navigates multiple vendor-based healthcare and financial applications working collaboratively with other entities to ensure financial integrity of outpatient drug reimbursement. The coordinator assists the Director of Pharmacy in auditing activities, budget analysis, pharmaceutical reimbursement, revenue integrity, and report generation to drive financial improvements. Additionally, this position will work closely with the Patient Assistance Coordinator in assisting patients with pharmaceutical financial assistance and develop strategies to enhance existing financial aid programs.  This position has access to restricted, confidential, and patient information as well as other highly sensitive business information requiring discretion and independent judgment while performing key job responsibilities.

This is a remote job, but may be required to come into the office if needed

Qualifications

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Pharm Tech cert required
  • Any combination of experience and education thatdemonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledgeskills/abilities
  • Bachelor degree or or 4 years of administrative or technicalexperience in a healthcare environment
  • 3 year minimum professional work experience in a healthcarefield
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial terminologyand reporting
  • Excellent computer and database skills; highly competent in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of initiative, flexibility, time management, cooperation, and exceptional attention to detail
  • Database management experience

PHYSICAL / FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS - Physical Demand Level: Medium

 

Schedule: Varies: 8 AM-5 PM MT standard hours and otherwise at the direction of management with at least 2 business days days notice
