About the role

GCyber is seeking a full-time onsite Asset Management Specialist, to support the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) effort. The candidate will manage aspects of the software and hardware assets within the CESO program.

 *Due to the classification and nature of the work performed, this position will be full-time at the Government location. 

As the Asset Management Specialist, you will:
  • Support property manager duties.
  • Complete monthly inventory reports per government guidelines.
  • Support inventory control process to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved or transferred property and excessed property.
  • Provide monthly inventory reports in accordance with government guidelines. 
  • Develop inventory control processes to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved or transferred. 
  • Monitor software licenses to ensure they comply with license agreements and usage standards.
  • Ensure audit compliance for IT software assets.
  • Develop material handling processes for shipping, receiving, storage and disposition of property.
  • Establish program-level Defense Property Accountability System(s) for incoming property (Line Item Receiving Report), transferred property and excessed property.
  • Coordinate and perform all property accountability functions and property management functions in accordance with government guidance and industry best practices.
  • Serve as mentor to other Asset Management team members.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of experience working in Asset Management. Additional years of logistics experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • Proficiency with Excel pivot tables
  • Experience with property accounting processes to include the associated forms.
  • Knowledge of automated inventory control systems.
  • Experience with ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability and discharge of excess property.
  • Experience with processing paperwork related DD1149s.
  • Prior DISA and DISA’s support to mission experience.
