Job Title: Part-time Alterations Specialist
Job Summary
This position will join a team that is responsible for completing customer clothing fitting, alterations, and mending at BYU Alterations.
What you'll do in this role:
Once fully trained, the position responsibilities are:
- Learn from and follow instructions of supervisor and managers.
- Analyze the fit of clothing and make decisions about alterations.
- Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and coworkers.
- Utilize computer program to keep track of order timelines and payments.
- Understand the use of all machines in the sewing room.
- Complete high quality clothing alterations and mending.
- Help train, advise, and collaborate with other employees.

Pay Grade: 44
Typical Starting Pay: $12.00/hour + (depending on experience)
The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate’s job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work-related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.
