The Field Services Supervisor is responsible for the overall management and execution of projects on behalf of the customer throughout the project life cycle and is the principal point of contact for the customer with respect to the project. The PM is charged with supporting the sales, operations, and service teams during the entire project to ensure a seamless transition from quotation through commissioning and acceptance by the customer. The PM will have the discipline to create clear and achievable cost, quality, and schedule objectives and follow these objectives through to successful completion.


The Project will also provide technical leadership to the sales & service teams. The PM must be capable of self-managing and directing a team on awarded projects for facility improvements, including working knowledge of critical power UPS, generators, HVAC systems, fire suppression, and switchgear batteries and power electronics (including DC plants, rectification, UPS, charger, etc.) and the associated component selection, system design & installation.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess project drawings and supplemental documentation to determine the project’s scope.
  • Consult with engineering and project management teams to ensure that the project design is accurate before the work and bid process commences.
  • Must be technically astute and capable of deep dive conversations around facilities, power systems, environmental systems, fire suppression, and other telecommunication facility topics.
  • Schedule and Visit Project Sites and Pre-Bid/Bid Openings.
  • Act as the main point of communication between the field and the office.
  • Review Equipment Mobilization - subcontractor budgeting & bid with customer Project Manager.
  • Review Scope of Work and scheduling with PM Team.
  • Communicate with customers, project managers and general contractors regarding the Project’s scope. Provide answers to any concerns and build relationships that will endure beyond the current job.
  • Identify, request, and follow up on required information from customers, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Daily coordination with Field Supervision and perform Daily Report uploads. Supporting material deliveries and subcontractor mobilizations.
  • Required to be on-site in support of Project and act as escort and GC for Project duration. (Long projects will be scheduled and assigned accordingly with other team members as needed).
