Junior QA Engineer

Position Summary:

We are in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This entry-level position is suitable for candidates with little to no experience but a keen interest in learning and testing web applications. The ideal candidate should possess a basic understanding of web development, and any knowledge of test automation would be a significant advantage. This is Phoenix-based Hybrid role.

Requirements

What We Want You to Do

• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Create, execute test cases and thoroughly document test results.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues.
• Conduct manual testing of web applications to ensure functionality and compatibility across different browsers and device sizes.
• Work with our UX team to validate usability of implemented designs.
• Develop a basic understanding of web development technologies.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation.

It Would Be Great to Have

• Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks.
• Previous experience in a quality assurance role or testing environment.
• Exposure to agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of web development concepts and technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Good knowledge in understanding the Software Testing life cycle and Methodologies.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of quality assurance.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
