Economic Community Development Associate - East

• Assist leaders in the development of the strategic plan and lead the implementation of the short and long-term strategy for company’s sustainability goals
• Provide recommendations to leaders on policies and processes, continually reviewing, developing, and implementing changes
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative market and vendor research to continually improve company’s sustainability program
• Build, maintain and protect company’s brand equity and reputation among key partners
• Analyze trends and competitive landscape and influence changes to strategy

What you will need to be succeed :

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a major/focus on Sustainability, Environmental Science, Science or Social Science, Business Administration, or related major; OR related work experience
• 1+ years of experience in sustainability including business consulting, corporate sustainability, government agency sustainability, and/or sustainability in the hospitality field
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be detail and results-oriented with an ability to work in a cross-functional, fast paced, and constantly evolving environment
• Familiar with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent personal organization and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects at one time, and prioritize workload
