Do you love kids? Dream of a job surrounded by energetic, smiling faces? Then we have the perfect part-time job for you! The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis Oakhaven Branch is seeking to hire Youth Development Professionals.

The Youth Development Professional plans and implements structured educational, social, and recreational programs and activities for young people between the ages of 6 - 18.

This is a part-time summer position.

Normal summer working hours :

9:30am until 3:00pm/ up to 29.5 hours per week

May 27, 2025 to July 18, 2025

Requirements

Staff member must be able to work with members ages 6 to 18. Needs to have knowledge with basic computer and technological skills. Have sufficient knowledge with grade level reading, math, and science. Staff should be prepared to move around the club, observing members progress and being able to assist if needed. Also needs to have classroom management and conflict resolution skills.

Additional knowledge with arts & crafts, visual arts, physical fitness, and STEM would be a plus.
