About the Role
Step into a key client-facing role at the heart of Digital Realty’s global delivery organisation, supporting the execution of strategic customer projects across regions. As Global Client Delivery Manager – Strategic Accounts, you act as the central point of coordination across internal teams, ensuring seamless implementation, delivery excellence, and a consistent global customer experience while driving complex data center projects from design handover through to operational transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of multiple global strategic accounts, providing a consolidated view of all implementation activities across pre- and post-commissioning phases
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and effective handling of escalations
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Solution Engineering, Construction, Implementation Services, and Operations
- Ensure delivery against contractual commitments (SOW, SLAs), including scope, timelines, and budget alignment
- Support contract negotiations and validate project scope and cost before client presentation
- Drive project execution by tracking progress, identifying risks and dependencies, and ensuring mitigation actions are in place
- Ensure project updates are accurate, aligned, and “client-ready” at all stages
- Facilitate a smooth transition from implementation to operations, including documentation and client sign-off
- Participate in commissioning processes and operational milestone reviews
- Contribute to the development of best practices and playbooks for strategic clients
Your Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the data center industry, including exposure to critical infrastructure and client implementation or delivery projects. Experience in telecommunications or engineering environments is a plus.
- Technical background (ideally electrical or mechanical engineering) is preferred
- Proven experience in client-facing roles, including managing escalations and acting as a trusted point of contact
- Solid understanding of data center infrastructure, with ability to interpret technical project documentation and drawings
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a global matrix organisation without direct authority
- Analytical skills with the ability to anticipate risks and solve complex problems proactively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at different organisational levels
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
- Knowledge of various forms of clients contracts and vendor agreements (MSA, AIA, SO, etc.)
- Willingness to travel (~20%)
