Service Delivery Manager – On-Wing Services

Savannah, GA

An exciting opportunity for a service delivery manager for On-Wing Services (OWS) has arisen in for our Savannah, GA location. The Service Delivery Manager will report directly to the operations manager while working in unison with the Head of OWS, the directory of quality and business manager. You will be responsible for the day-to-day activity of the flight technician staff in both the engine shop and field environments as well as the development and growth of both current and future flight technicians employed by On-Wing Services. The service delivery manager will play a key role in meeting financial goals while maintaining customer satisfaction and business development. In this role, you will travel domestically up to 10%.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the delivery of key performance indicators to the operations manager, as required by the business and collaborate with colleagues to achieve goals and objectives
  • Maintain an understanding of all necessary technical documentation while communicating progress and issues to the relevant stakeholders and escalate when necessary
  • Routinely interact with both internal and external customers, across all levels of the organization
  • Certify all work is scheduled and performed in accordance with applicable legal, and company procedures, including health & safety policies
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with EASA and FAA Part 145 airworthiness regulations
  • Undertake mandatory regulatory training, and manage personal development as required for team while developing and delivering technician training programs for current and future projects

Basic Requirements:

  • Associate degree with 7+ years of experience in aviation maintenance, repair or an overhaul environment, OR
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in aviation maintenance, repair or an overhaul environment, OR
  • Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in aviation maintenance, repair or an overhaul environment, OR
  • JD/PhD, OR
  • 9+ years of experience in aviation maintenance, repair or an overhaul environment in lieu of a degree
  • Must have FAA Airframe & Power Plant license
  • In order to be considered for this position, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident

Preferred Requirements:

  • Substantial understanding and knowledge of the range of products, systems, their functionality and applications, within the Rolls-Royce services environment
  • Understanding of engineering principles, methods and procedures appropriate to a specialist work environment
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams with a strong background aviation maintenance or operation
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office with experience administering both internal and external audits
  • Supervisory / leadership experience working in a dynamic customer facing environment and meeting customer requirements
