We are looking for Nursing Assistants (CNA certified) that want flexibility, but have the availability and desire to pick up shifts. We are hiring on-call status right now. Must be open to at least two of the three shifts (example: AM & NOC, PM & NOC or AM & PM). We are looking for individuals with 6+ months of caregiving experience.
Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) Central Staffing Float Pool provides relief staffing resources to our care teams in our Care Centers, Assisted Living and Transitional Care communities and serves as an important part of our ministry serving older adults.
We are looking for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA, RA, NAR) that pride themselves in providing quality care and services to seniors in a variety of levels of care.

- Travel to a variety of PHS locations (need to willing to drive up to 30 miles from your home)

- Set your own schedule within program requirements
- Gain experience in different care settings (Assisted Living, Long-Term Care and Transitional Care)

- Earn a base rate based upon experience, shift differential for the PM and NOC, as well as a float pool bonus of $30 per shift.
- The manager receives requests from our communities and your availability to build schedules about a pay period in advance. The schedules are subject to change based on the site's needs.
Weekend Requirement:
- Full Time Central Staffing employees are agreeing to work 2 weekend shifts per month (no every other weekend requirement).
- On Call Central Staffing employees are agreeing to work a minimum of 5 shifts a month including 1 weekend shift.

Responsibilities
The Central Staffing Resident Assistant is responsible for the provision of high quality care and services to residents in a variety of PHS communities. As a Central Staffing Resident Assistant you are relied upon for providing vital staffing support to our nursing care teams. The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing care and services to support the choices of residents, while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices.
Qualifications
- A minimum of six (6) months of prior experience in a health care setting.
- Current Nursing Assistant Certification in the state(s) where you will work (for Care Center/Long Term Care and TCU openings)
- Able and willing to travel to communities within a 30 mile radius of your home.
