TikTok Engineering Generalized Arch-Server Arch-Experience and Efficiency team is dedicated to tackling complex engineering challenges. Our team operates in a high-impact and fast-paced environment, ensuring that TikTok's backend infrastructure is efficient and optimized.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist in empowering TikTok's backend infrastructure and corresponding toolchains with a high-efficiency and high-standard development experience as part of a globally distributed engineering team.
2. Contribute to optimizing TikTok backend development and operations with advanced engineering methodologies and collaborative solutions to foster the best engineering excellence community.
3. Deep dive into TikTok business scenarios to solve development pain points and provide optimal architecture and solutions focusing on experience and efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an BS/MS in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as C, C++, Go, Java, PHP, or Rust.
- Strong communication skills and team awareness, positive and optimistic attitude, and a sense of responsibility.
- Interest in backend infrastructure and corresponding toolchain development.

Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to contribute to resolving complex problems based on technical and business understanding.
- Comfort with ambiguity and facilitating discussions to explore the best possible solutions.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate as part of a team.
- Excellent problem analysis and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to seek challenges and acquire new knowledge.
