About the Role:

This is a key role within our Finance Team, working closely with the Head of Accounting to provide high-quality financial analysis, supporting strategic decision making and overseeing management accounting activities.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Management Reporting: Preparing and presenting monthly financial performance reports, KPI analysis and ad-hoc reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Month-End Close: Managing the month-end closing process, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Variance Analysis: Conducting detailed variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, providing explanations for variances
  • Team Support: Providing support and guidance on accounting best practices and professional development.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process by collaborating with department heads to align with strategic goals and financial targets.
  • Cost Control and Efficiency Improvement: Monitor and analyse business costs, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting measures to optimize financial performance.

What is required from you:

  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA is desired
  • Experience in Management Accounting preferably within a senior or supervisory role
  • Strong proficiency in financial software
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills
