The Global Talent Acquisition team is a dynamic and innovative group dedicated to sourcing and securing top-tier talent for S&P Global. This role falls within our global Ratings Talent Acquisition team and will report to the Ratings Talent Acquisition Regional lead for the Americas.

Responsibilities and Impact:
- Conduct comprehensive recruitment processes, including sourcing, screenings, pipeline development, and offer negotiation.
- Leverage AI and automation to optimize recruitment steps.
- Educate and influence leaders to adopt best practices in recruitment.
- Mentor junior colleagues to foster team growth and achieve objectives.
- Provide strategic advice using data and market intelligence to guide recruiting decisions.
- Enhance recruitment metrics with talent analytics, focusing on Internal Mobility and Global Mindset.
- Innovate candidate experience strategies to uphold S&P's brand reputation.
- Foster teamwork and success in recruitment discussions with peers and leadership.
- Manage and build relationships with business leaders and HR partners in the Americas.
- Collaborate across functions to enhance strategic alignment.
- Adhere to global policies related to immigration, relocation, and offers.
- Coordinate with internal teams like Rewards and Legal efficiently.
- Stay informed on industry trends and maintain business understanding.
- Exhibit emotional intelligence by staying positive despite challenges.
- Participate in events and fairs to attract talent.
- Engage external agencies within a controlled framework.
What We’re Looking For:
- Years of experience, an S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 5+ years’ of corporate recruiting experience required, particularly in ratings agency, financial services, and/or credit roles.
- Proficiency in ATS/HR systems, preferably Workday
- Comfortable in regulated environments operating within a structured, process-driven format—while also embracing ongoing iteration as business needs evolve.
- Strong communication skills for setting clear expectations and fostering trust.
- Expertise in sourcing techniques, including direct approaches to external talent.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive business results.
- Sharp analytical skills for quick, informed decision-making.
- Relationship-building capabilities with candidates and stakeholders.
- Effective networking to cultivate strong talent pipelines.
- Adaptability in collaboration, even with incomplete data.
- Experience in global talent acquisition.
- Understanding of S&P Global Ratings and industry insights.
- Skill in managing priorities in fast-paced settings.
- Data analytics proficiency to guide recruitment strategies.
Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $72,000 to $140,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
