Placement Coordinator (Remote, Part-Time)

Learner Education is seeking a part-time, remote Placement Coordinator to help match students with the right tutors. This entry-level position requires no prior experience, though a passion for education and the ability to adapt to systems and processes is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Review student profiles to understand needs and goals.
• Research tutor profiles to find the best matches.
• Communicate with tutors and manage responses via email.
• Schedule and confirm trial sessions between students and tutors.
• Track trial sessions from start to finish.
• Collaborate with Academic Advisors to ensure successful placements.
• Provide exceptional support to students and tutors.
• Conduct welcome calls for new tutors and build professional relationships.
• Maintain clear communication across teams.
• Adapt to additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Empathetic and passionate about education.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable with technology and adapting to new tools (Google Suite, Slack, ZenDesk, VOIP).
• Problem-solver with the ability to manage urgent situations calmly.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
• Open to feedback and committed to personal growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
• Education, tutoring, or test prep experience is a plus, but not required.
• Must have a computer/laptop, high-speed internet, and a quiet workspace.

• Schedule:
• Monday to Friday, from 8 AM - 12 PM or 9 AM - 1 PM Eastern.
• Compensation: $18 per hour
