Job Summary:

We are seeking an Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a minimum of five years experience in emergency medicine or urgent care for a virtual urgent care position.

Job Duties:

A virtual Advanced Practice Provider will perform acute triage, evaluation and treatment to care for new or established patients. The provider will demonstrate autonomy through patient evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.

• Work will be done in a remote virtual setting
• Virtual clinic hours 7a - 7p, Monday thru Sunday
• 72 templated hours and 8 hrs. discretionary
• Every third weekend – 6 shifts in two weeks
• Patient census: 46 maximum patients a day; 15-minute blocks
• No overnight shifts
• Closed six major holidays

Required:

• Must reside and be licensed in the state of Pennsylvania
• Five years of clinical experience in urgent care or emergency department setting
• Able to treat ages two and older
• Private workspace
• Good broadband connection

Equipment provided:

• Geisinger computer
• Webcam, monitors, etc.
