Job Description

Medical Laboratory Scientist II - Lab HLA

Full-Time; Night Shift; 3pm-11:30pm

  1. Under the supervision of the Section Supervisor, performs testing of patient specimens in one or more departments within the Laboratory. This position requires practical as well as theoretical knowledge of test methodologies which assist the medical staff in the diagnosis and management of disease and medical disorders. Patient contact and specimens from patients may include infants to adultgeriatric

  3. Reports to Section Supervisor, Lab Manager and Pathologists.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Medical Technology, or chemical, physical or biological science and 1 year training / experience in high complexity testing.
  • Prior laboratory experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of various laboratory instrumentation required.
  • Proficient communication skills required.
  • Ability to read and perform basic mathematical calculations.

Compensation:

Pay Range: $27.98-$39.18
