Job Description
We are looking for a People Operations Manager to join our People Team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of some of our core processes and procedures which are at the heart of the experience of our people and the success of our business.
Core Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility of areas such as: onboarding, offboarding, HR audits, visas and work permits, background screenings & security clearances, relocations, HR policies and procedures’ creation & maintenance, HR systems maintenance
- As a senior role in the People Operations team, this role will be responsible for a large part of the team, managing the above areas. The role-holder will drive the strategy of the above areas, act as an escalation point and as a mentor/coach for the team ensuring their continuous development.
- Provide guidance, assistance, and data-driven insights from relevant surveys and people metrics, to proactively identify trends and key areas of focus within the aforementioned areas, so the business can deliver excellence on the ‘Empowered People’ side of the triangle.
- Recognise the business challenges and critically evaluate, develop and influence the people strategies, whilst coaching the Operations team towards the achievement of their goals.
- Collaborate and build relationships with the People Partners and key stakeholders across the business, becoming a trustworthy and strategic partner for all.
- Challenge thinking such as ‘because this is the way we’ve always done it’, to encourage growth and efficiency.
- Advocate for the development of strong diversity, inclusion and belonging practices across the business.
- Support company restructuring due to growth, ensuring those restructures are undertaken in a compliant, well-organised and well-communicated manner to ensure the best possible result for the company in terms of maximising the benefits, as well as a good employee experience for those involved or impacted by changes.
Qualifications
- At least 6 years’ experience in a similar role with experience in high volume, fast-paced environment.
- A broad and deep understanding of HR across operations and compliance is essential.
- A demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods, approaches, and departmental contribution while remaining cost sensitive.
- A strong Irish employment law background (UK knowledge would be an advantage).
- Experience with Irish immigration processes will be an advantage (again, UK knowledge would be an advantage).
- Experience working in a metrics and data driven environment and be excellent at analysing data and information.
- Experience or involvement in implementing new HR platform/technology would be an advantage as we will need to make some changes in the next couple of years.
- Ability to build strong, influential relationships with senior stakeholders and can provide advice and guidance to ensure effective outcomes.
- Track record of designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions to real People problems to enhance the Business growth and deliverables.
- A track record of ensuring Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging is always at the forefront of your mind.
- Have strong communication skills and be comfortable interacting with employee
