As a Supervising Fish and Wildlife Biologist (Douglas District Wildlife Biologist) in Roseburg, Oregon, you will direct and conduct all wildlife management programs within the Douglas Watershed District and will be responsible for ensuring statewide direction is implemented. You will supervise four full-time employees, who, along with the district biologist, conduct necessary management activities which include wildlife population inventory, planning, damage control, habitat protection and multiple interactions with the public, private landowners, county, state, and federal land managers.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Job requires employee to travel by air, foot, or vehicle through isolated, rugged terrain.
Must be available at all hours; work days in excess of eight hours and work weeks in excess of 40 hours, typical work includes exposure to all types of inclement weather.
