Job Description

The Role

We are on the search for an Assistant Retoucher & Digital Asset Coordinator to join our in-house Creative Studio reporting to the Retouching Manager and Photo Manager.  This role will work closely on our existing products and new initiatives. The Creative Studio creates, designs and produces all content that lives on our platform, including videos, photography, infographics, data visualizations, design graphics, and audio.

The Assistant Retoucher & Digital Asset Coordinator will be responsible for retouching & color correction, as well as the digital asset management of a large volume of images, while maintaining  an extremely high level of quality control. Organizing, tagging, & adding image descriptions is a large part of the role. This individual will also at times work closely with our Design and Photo Editor teams, aiding in the creation of high quality imagery. 

The ideal candidate is someone who has an experienced eye for design and photography and a deep understanding of brand aesthetic. This person must have excellent attention to detail when it comes to file organization, and be  very familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite with advanced knowledge of Photoshop & Camera RAW.

** This is a full-time temporary role (W2) requiring a minimum of 3 days onsite (Midtown Manhattan). **

Responsibilities

  • Keep a large volume of files organized and easily accessible.
  • Data entry of metadata.
  • Process image files using Adobe Camera RAW.
  • Retouch and color correct with high quality standards. 
  • Partner with designers to produce visually appealing original content.
  • Support the Photo Editor team in the production of excellent quality imagery. 
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience in photo retouching, editing, visual design and/or art direction.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, with interest in further developing. 
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and the ability to multitask. 
  • Excellent people skills and dedication to a collaborative work environment.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, metadata, & imaging software.
  • Comfortable working in highly matrixed organizations and comfortable creating a process from the ground up.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.

Additional Information

  • Level All does not provide work authorization and/or visa sponsorship.
  • Compensation range: $240 - $280 per day. This represents the expected compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, we will consider location, skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors in determining our offer.
