Surgery - General Surgery (South Bay Surgeons, Inc. - Torrance)

Full time general surgeon wanted for a busy and expanding general surgery and surgical subspecialty group – South Bay Surgeons, Inc. 

 -Bread and Butter General and Oncologic surgery (Appys, Choles, SBO, Diverticulitis, Hernias, etc.)

 -No trauma

 -Specialist Partners available to take over / assist with subspecialty consults if needed

 - Specialists / Partners available as operative assists (setup for success!)

 - State-of-the-art hospital and medical specialties (excellent GI, IR, and ID)

 - Active hospitalist programs and separate ICU teams to assist with medical management.

   

Schedule:

5 days / non-call week

350 surgeries / year

70% elective and 30% inpatient consultation

All ER call is from home - no in-house, trauma, or ICU

Shared evenly among all partners

1 week of ER call / 6 weeks

1 weekend of ER call / month

Covering 2 local hospitals only 4 miles apart

 

Shareholdership available after 2 years.

Our compensation philosophy:

We offer a competitive total compensation and benefits package to our physicians.    The total pay range shown takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.  This total pay range includes incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.

Pay Range: $331,966-$532,590 Total Cash Compensation.

BC/BE in General Surgery.
