Sr. Operations Analyst - Alternatives Reporting - Hybrid Remote

We are seeking a Senior Operations Analyst – Alternatives Reporting (Hybrid Remote) at our downtown Cleveland, Ohio wealth management firm.   This position is responsible for supporting the Operations team focusing on alternative investment processing and reporting.  The job includes being responsible for account onboarding and setup, processing of alternative asset transactions, statement handling, custodian and fund reconciliation, fund performance report reviews, report generation and reporting system maintenance. Your expertise will help us maintain data integrity and provide exceptional service to our clients.

 This position offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week after initial training period. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Handles and executes complex departmental tasks 
• Assists with training and development of Operations Analysts
• Takes the lead on key Operational processes to ensure Operations cadence is functioning efficiently
• Performs account setup and maintenance across portfolio accounting systems
• Executes standard Operational transactions/processes utilizing standard procedures. 
• Manual account/performance reconciliation and transaction entry
• Monitors client alternative investments and enters transactions across reporting systems
• Assist with daily production activities and execute ad hoc requests
• Interacts with custodians as necessary to resolve discrepancies.
• Utilizes and follows departmental policies and procedures and recommends enhancements
• Creates and monitors new asset setups/classifications
• Executes monthly and quarterly standardized reporting
• Assists with data aggregation setup
• Saves and organizes custodial statements and alternative investment documents
• Processes account closing and client offboarding
• Documentation of procedures as needed
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

Essential skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, data analytics, or related field
• 5-7 years of experience in financial services or wealth management operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple requests and priorities
• Experience with Financial Technology platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Tamarac, Schwab, Fidelity) 
• Ability to communicate and work well amongst cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems independently
