Job Description
As a System Experience Specialist you will:
o Facilitate, promote and support user adoption of procurement technology and systems
o Act as a front-line SME for procurement systems and technology – demonstrate deep knowledge and understanding of procurement systems
o Lead training of new users, both in Procurement and partner business lines
o Lead ongoing user support
o Coordinate with systems colleagues in Finance, Technology and other organizations to address internal client issues with systems and processes
o Interview and consult with business line partners on the best course of action for sourcing events, purchasing and supplier research
o In partnership with the procurement Operations team, identify, understand and route projects / users to the best contacts, systems, tools
o Understand existing bank supplier partners and services; as appropriate connect orgs with new needs to existing solutions and providers
o Support internal users / teams through project lifecycle
o Ensure relevant Procurement stakeholders are engaged
o Manage day-to-day front-line relationships with procurement suppliers in support of internal client projects, requests and issues
o Act as an ambassador for U.S. Bank Enterprise Procurement, and the tools and services it offers
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of experience in project management activities
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Strong knowledge of procurement concepts and best practices
-Demonstrated experience training and supporting users in use of cloud and ERP tools and services
-Demonstrated experience in a sourcing environment, preferably managing, categories, sourcing events, and/or handling supplier management
- Strong client focus
-Ability to work independently in a highly-matrixed environment
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
