What you'll do

In this role, you would be part of the Product-Led Growth UX Design Team. You would focus on researching a range of growth related problems requiring you to use a mix of research methodologies while partnering closely with a large, cross functional team. We are seeking a researcher who is passionate about being customer-centric, skilled in communicating crisp research findings, and skilled in driving impact within a team and across an organization. This individual would have a keen interest in advocating for customer research, education, and best practices.

The right candidate will be equally skilled in facilitating thoughtful conversations with both internal stakeholders, customers, and research participants. Transforming those conversations and ambiguous problems into detailed research plans and actionable insights should be your focus. Additionally, you should be able to speak in detail about user experience concepts and be able to explain the why behind your recommendations.

 

The scope of this work will require the applicant to be proficient in usability testing, cross-functional collaboration, and effective workshop facilitation. This is a role that will involve high visibility projects and require the researcher to work cross-functionally across different products and product areas.

 

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, PLG UX Design.

 

Responsibility

  • Lead and deliver complex UX research projects on time and to the highest quality, while coaching less experienced team members in their work, including developing their data analysis and insights skills

  • Drive UX research strategy and direction across multiple cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with product strategies

  • Optimize resources and foster collaboration across multiple projects and teams to achieve product goals efficiently

  • Communicate complex ideas and research findings clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • Build strong internal networks to improve organizational navigation and enhance the speed and quality of UX research solutions

  • Innovate and problem-solve when faced with complex, large-scale projects, continuously iterating and improving research deliverables and approaches

  • Address challenges, effectively escalating issues when appropriate

  • Develop personal skills continuously by taking on stretch assignments and multitasking to support teams as needed

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • Minimum of 8 years related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 6 years related experience with a Master’s degree
  • 6+ years of experience researching consumer, enterprise and/or mobile user experiences

Preferred

  • Master’s degree or above in a research-related field
  • Experience conducting generative and evaluative research across multiple projects
  • Experience telling effective, persuasive stories with both qualitative and quantitative data and assessing their impact
  • Experience triangulating from multiple data sources to build narratives and effective presentations
  • Experience presenting insights tailored to a particular audience
  • An online portfolio or work samples
