Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. This role can be based in our Mountain View, San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago offices.
The Tech & Analytics team manages all tech and analytics needs for LinkedIn’s Global Business Organization (GBO). Spanning data capture, systems design, reporting, statistical modeling, product management, and business strategy, you will gain a broad spectrum of experience applying your technical data skills to drive strategy and improve company operations.
In this role, we are seeking a new member of the Tech and Transformation team. This role will be a good fit for a candidate with business application design and development along with quantitative, communication, and project management skills. You will have the opportunity to apply your deep understanding of System Design and Analytics to streamline our business reporting capabilities end-to-end, ultimately influencing our broader data strategy at LinkedIn.
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve upon various business applications, provide architectural guidance, and drive PBI best practices for initiatives across LinkedIn
- Partner with cross-functional teams in designing, implementing, and supporting critical business solutions and processes on Microsoft Power Platforms
- Develop a deep understanding of the key sales metrics for each of LinkedIn’s SaaS lines of business
- Drive an alignment on the metric source of truth datasets across Sales Operations, Business Operations, Finance, Data Science, and Engineering teams
- Partner with Data Science and Engineering to build the optimal platform to support our data processing and consumption needs
- Act as the subject matter expert in Power Platforms, guiding peers and partners in the tools
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of work experience developing Enterprise business applications
- 2+ years of experience using Power Platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, Economics, Business, Engineering or other quantitative fields, OR equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical Experience:
- Anaplan (Level 2 Model Building)
- Power Platforms (e.g., PL-900)
- SQL (3 years)
- Mentorship: Experience mentoring developers or team lead experience (interim or full time)
- Sales Operations: Knowledge of the end-to-end Financial Planning & Budgeting Process, including forecasting, headcount planning, spend management and leverage this knowledge to design and deliver the necessary solutions
- Effective Communications: Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations
- Problem-Solver: Comfortable with data and ambiguity; able to both delve into the details and operational tactics and engage meaningfully in the big picture or overall strategy
- Proactive and passionate about results: Independently and proactively capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations
- Adaptable to change: Excited by working in a quickly evolving team
- Highly Analytical: Experience decomposing and solving real-world business problems, ideally building/using advanced Excel models, SQL, PowerBI or Tableau a plus
