Graphic Design/Video Intern

This position is a temporary internship role from roughly May 2024-September 2024

 

 

 

Position Objective:

 

Assists the creative team to produce graphics for variety of marketing and promotional projects, including packaging, brochures, sell sheets and digital images within all Wagner product groups. This position also requires a strong eye for detail and ability to follow templates setup by the creative department.

 

 

Accountabilities:

 

• Working with established templates and style guides on various production-oriented projects such as brochures, sell sheets and image work. Collaborating with senior designers within the team.

 

• Finalize the quality of designs and make sure everything meets the appropriate standards for file formatting or printing requirements.

 

• Taking an overall design layout and adjusting to fit specific digital and print formats or specifications.

 

• Moments of brainstorming ideas and mocking up designs.

 

Relationship to Others:

Creative team member reporting to and taking direction from Creative Services Manager and Senior Designers, which gives the opportunity for learning and development from those more experienced.

 

 

Dimensions of Position:

Detail-oriented to help the creative team establish and maintain the Wagner brand. Responsibilities include reviewing final copy, layouts and content, ensuring brand standards and putting the finishing touches on creative projects.

 

 

Education

Currently enrolled in accredited college, university or technical school for Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Applied Arts or Visual Communications.

 

 

Experience

Knowledge and course work in Graphic Design, Applied Arts or Visual Communications.

 

 

Skills

            • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

            • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)

            • Process-oriented self-starter with strong analytical skills

            • Strong desire and ability to learn, adapt and apply new technologies

            • Willingness to ask questions and learn quickly from team and peers
