As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves engaging with tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service, and responding to incidents as needed. Job Schedule:
DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You’ll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols and training.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance as needed.
- Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
- Interact professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as required.
- Carry and handle assigned equipment and/or firearms responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.

Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of security-related experience.
- Possess a combined total of at least 3 years of law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations.
- Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
