Join the Colgate-Palmolive Global Network Team as a Senior Network Architect and be part of our expanding team! Our Global Network group plays a vital role in helping the organization maintain robust connectivity, security, efficiency, and the overall smooth operation of IT resources.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to design, implement, and maintain our organization’s complex data networks. The Senior Network Architect will work closely with other Architects and will be responsible for developing high-level network architectures that ensure connectivity, security, scalability, and optimal performance to support current and future business needs. You'll require the ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve complex issues as well as quickly implement changes to support highly complex enterprise level networks.

This position is based out of the Piscataway, NJ location. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and optimize enterprise-level network architectures—including LAN, WAN, cloud, and wireless solutions—to align with business objectives and future needs.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new networking technologies while ensuring robust performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain thorough documentation for network designs, configurations, procedures, and project plans.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable network integration and operations.
• Oversee network projects, capacity planning, troubleshooting, compliance, and mentor junior engineers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in the IT industry, with 5+ years specializing in network architecture, engineering, and administration.
• Extensive knowledge of networking principles, protocols (e.g., BGP, EIGRP, TCP/IP), SDWAN/SASE solutions, LAN/WAN technologies, cloud integration, and security infrastructure.
• Proficient in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, IPSec and GRE tunnels, NAT/PAT, encryption protocols, and access controls.
• Skilled in monitoring network performance, troubleshooting complex issues, and resolving latency and instability problems.
• Familiar with cloud service models and integration of cloud and on-premises data center infrastructure, as well as experience using network monitoring and management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise in configuring and managing diverse infrastructure platforms, including Cisco routers and switches, Palo Alto Firewalls, Prisma SD-WAN, and Cisco ThousandEyes.
• Experienced in network automation using tools such as Ansible and Python scripting.
• Holds relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP/CCIE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking).
• Proficient with VoIP, wireless networking, network storage systems, and familiar with AWS, GCP Cloud Networking, and Equinix Fabric.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; knowledgeable in Cisco ISE, DNA Center, Catalyst Center, and Data Center Network Manager.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $106,400.00 - $150,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
