The Pharmacy Technician 2 is a customer-facing role that will assist in building a large customer base for the launch of a new CenterWell Pharmacy within Bond Clinic (main campus). This role will assist in building relationships with clinic care team members such as medical assistants, receptionists, and medical providers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Interaction with patients to fill prescription and OTC medication orders, offer Pharmacist consult, and arrange for courier delivery service when needed
• Cash register operation
• Data entry
• Filling prescriptions manually or with counting machine
• Medication Therapy Management documentation
• Assisting Pharmacist with controlled substance prescription approval
• Outbound calls to patients for prescription pickup reminders, vaccine reminders, and ensuring that patients are managing their medications
• Travel throughout the campus on foot to deliver injectables and verify information with providers

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30AM to 5PM with a 30 minute scheduled lunch break from 12:30 to 1 PM.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician
• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license
• Nationally Certified with PTCB OR ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Ability to learn new software easily 
• Must be able to handle multiple priorities and multitask 
• This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail environment
• Experience working in Specialty Pharmacy
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Certified to administer immunizations

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

 

$40,000 - $52,300 per year
