Familiarity with observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, metrics pipelines).
Background in performance optimization at scale.
First-Month Focus
Ship at least one user-facing improvement across core services or UI.
Implement tracing/alerts to stabilize a flaky pipeline and reduce failure rates.
Adopt weekly βplan β ship β measureβ cadence and track lead time for changes.
Success OKRs (90 Days)
Reduce error rates in a core pipeline by 30β50%.
Deliver measurable latency improvements (β₯30%) in a high-volume workflow.
Consistently ship features on a weekly cadence with visible post-deploy metrics.
Culture Fit
Persistent, driven problem solver
Willing to push back on leadership to defend quality/timelines
