Summary
Seeking a passionate Fleet Technician to serve our GIG Car Share Member community. This individual will join our fleet team with an opportunity to thrive and use your skills to help deliver best-in-class Member experiences and creating a positive impact on the diverse communities we serve.
Essential Functions
- Reposition Gig cars from low utilization zones to high utilization zones
- Refuel and clean Gig cars in the fleet for a great Member experience
- Shuttle Gig cars for maintenance and repair services (e.g., oil changes, flat tire repairs, etc.)
- Inspect, photograph and determine resolution of damaged vehicles
- Test, diagnose, service and repair vehicle telematics technology
- Perform light maintenance (e.g., battery jump, changing tires, etc.)
- Prepare cars for in-fleeting and de-fleeting
- Audit quality of work of third party fleet partners
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to creatively problem solve with an attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate with Team Members, partners and Gig Members
- Ability to deliver best-in-class experiences
- Have an internal drive to do what it takes to get the job done with a Member focus mentality
Education & Experience/Licenses & Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record
- At least 21 years old with minimum of 5 years of driving experience
- Customer service facing experience
- Ability to work flexible hours and willingness to work weekends
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
Lifting and carrying various parts, weighing up to 30-50 pounds, several times a day
Bending, kneeling, reaching and stooping as required for service calls
