Associate, Product Management- Cloud Infrastructure Engineering

We are looking for a Product Management Associate to join our Product Management team within our Cloud Infrastructure Engineering (CIE) division. Your job will be to assist in implementing strategies to maximize the business value of web-scale IT infrastructure services.    But enough about us, let’s talk about you.

You are an effective analyst, a good communicator and a focused collaborator for a diverse set of stakeholders and execution partners. 

The Team: Our CIE Product Management team at athenahealth is responsible for shaping the strategy to run technical infrastructure at massive scale.  The infrastructure services that you will be delivering will power the transformation of athenahealth products and enable the company to open up the network and create the healthcare platform that enables the next generation of healthcare services. Job Responsibilities 

• Develop and execute on the short to mid-term vision for product management 
• Create multi-release product roadmaps and communicate internally, noting the stages and timelines for various work 
• Provide input into commercial and technical documents; building and developing the solution business case, ROI and TCO models for cloud infrastructure and platform solutions
• Work with the Product Leadership to prioritize problems or themes to reach desired outcomes 

Typical Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business or Product Design preferred 
• 1 or more years overall professional experience, ideally in product management or relevant experience 
• Working knowledge of IT infrastructure desired 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially with senior leaders and customers
