Our goal is to run our IT shop as a business, have the right tools and information to improve our productivity and value across all TD lines of business

Duties and Accountabilities

Business:

• Partner with product SME’s, Treasury, and Risk Management stakeholders to develop a strategic analytics platform to optimize the dealer’s funding & financing needs
• Liaise with the business stakeholders on requirements and serve as subject matter expert for the product
• Act as product manager and champion for the platform’s analytics and end-user experience
• Complete in-depth analysis on trades and products across TDS and their overall impact on the dealer's funding position
• Drive and facilitate data on-boarding from source systems onto the target solution
• Provide end-to-end test case development for developers and end-users
• Essential:
  • 8+ years of Capital Markets experience
  • Derivatives and cross-asset product knowledge
  • Hands-on expertise with data analytics
  • Knowledge of liquidity and collateral management
• Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of liquidity and collateral regulations, including collateral monitoring, stress tests, forecast requirements
  • Knowledge of funding and cash management
  • Trading platform expertise with both in-house and vendor systems

Technical:

• Develop business and technical documentation to be implemented by Toronto, NY and Dublin development teams
• Lead in business analysis to address cross-regional requirements
• Oversee and/or execute test scripts within the testing environment, ensuring defects are logged, and documented for Developer corrections
• Establish and/or follow established testing procedures, standards and processes.
• Provide expert knowledge of testing to projects in which QA is engaged/ required 
• Lead in knowledge transfer within the team, and business units globally
• Sound technical knowledge and analytical skills
• Essential:
  • SQL or other database experience
  • JSON experience
  • Jira, Bitbucket, Collaborate experience
• Nice to have:
  • Familiarity with JavaScript or other scripting languages
  • XML experience
  • Have worked in an agile environment and familiarity with scrum ceremonies

People:

• Lead discussion groups with business users to provide best of the breed solution to the business problems
• Develop and maintain relationships with business stakeholders and project managers
• Work effectively as a team, supporting other team members in achieving project/ business objectives and providing client services
