About the role

StreamLabs, an OEM manufacturer and service provider of Smart Home and IoT goods and services, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chubb, is hiring an Accountant.  As part of an innovative and fast-moving team, your key roles and responsibilities will include

  • Perform direct accounting support of day-to-day business operations including 
    • All accounting aspects of inventory tracking and management 
    • Coordinate with corporate office to process and record ACH, EFT, wire, etc.
    • Reconcile monthly statements including cash flows, bank transactions, tie-outs       
    • Accounts payable: record invoices and work with finance team to process 
    • Accounts receivable: work with customers to ensure timely payments and minimize aging 
  • Work directly with all functional teams including  
    • StreamLabs management, sales, service, engineering, and operations teams
    • Chubb finance, tax, treasury, A/P, and external financial consultants
  • Support monthly and quarterly close and reporting processes including
    • Sales revenue, expenses, overall P&L reports, budget tracking
    • General Ledger entries
    • Complete account reconciliation to track and report A/P and A/R
    • Create ad hod reports and financial statements
    • Provide analysis on results and financial data  
  • Participate in annual planning and forecast processes including
    • Creation and maintenance of pro-forma revenue models and strategic plans
    • Support management team in generation of monthly and ad hoc financial reports
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent with 5+ years of overall professional experience required with 3 years of direct accounting and bookkeeping experience in manufacturing, distribution, or other inventory-based sales organization
  • Direct Accounting experience and knowledge of inventory-based business and accounting to include experience in inventory-based ERP software and systems
  • Strong business acumen and technical accounting skills
  • Ability to work as a team player with internal and external resources
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Fluency in Epicor Profit 21 or equivalent ERP system strongly desired
  • Expert in MS Office, including generation of Annual, Monthly, and ad hoc financial reports in Excel and PowerPoint
