About the role

Position Overview: 
We are seeking a Workday Project Manager to lead and manage the implementation and optimization of Workday solutions across our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, extensive experience with Workday implementations, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. This position is remote 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Workday implementation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, finance, and external vendors, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and ensure business needs are accurately documented and translated into Workday solutions.
  • Oversee system configuration, testing, and deployment activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption of Workday solutions.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify areas for improvement and optimize system functionality.
  • Stay current with Workday updates and industry trends, ensuring the organization leverages the latest features and best practices.
