Information Systems Security Administrator

Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) is seeking Information Systems Security Administrator candidates to support an opportunity at the US Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering, Information Technologies, Electrical Engineering, Physical Sciences, or Mathematics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five (5) years of demonstrated experience managing computer systems and IT infrastructure security with Navy requirements and proper accreditation.
• Demonstrated experience with the Linux operating system.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain certifications (Security+ or equivalent) for access to Navy network and infrastructure.
• Security Clearance required. 

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to touch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear and occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
