SWBC is seeking a talented individual to oversee the strategic direction and execution of training and performance consultation services to drive sales growth, minimize losses, and enhance goodwill. As a senior subject matter expert, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive training programs and initiatives. You will also mentor and support performance consultants, fostering their professional development and ensuring their success.

Essential duties include the following:

  • Develops and implements strategic training plans to address organizational needs and support business objectives.
  • Oversees the creation of training resources, including web-based modules and facilitator guides.
  • Communicates and ensures the execution of annual training plans across all accounts.
  • Conducts monthly reviews for KPIs related to immediate performance metrics, such as training attendance rates, training effectiveness, and utilization of training resources. This allows for timely adjustments and quick responses to any issues
  • Delivers high-impact training sessions to external clients on product knowledge, leadership, coaching, and technology.
  • Conduct thorough performance analyses to identify gaps and develop targeted solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients' leadership teams to address performance gaps and implement effective solutions.
  • Designs and manages Award, Recognition, and Incentive Campaigns to motivate and reward performance.
  • Leads the implementation and training for new products, ensuring seamless integration throughout the product life cycle.
  • Promotes best practices for point-of-sale products to enhance client growth, retention, utilization, and satisfaction.
  • Maintains strong relationships with clients through regular communication and collaboration.
  • Analyzes account performance data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Integrates diverse data sources to develop comprehensive training and performance strategies.
  • Maintains training calendars, documentation, and records in Salesforce and Outlook.
  • Leads special projects and initiatives to enhance department efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provides expert guidance in meetings and collaborate with other departments to develop innovative solutions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Training, Organizational Development, Education, Business Management, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in performance consulting, training, or instructional design in banking, insurance, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing training teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of Institutional Sales Process/Relationship Selling and Insurance sales.
  • Proficiency in training development software such as Snag It, Adobe Connect, and Unity.
  • Proficiency in communication and collaboration tools such as GlobalMeet, Outlook, and Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with Workday and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of the financial services market, economy, and industry trends.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical abilities.
  • Outstanding presentation and consulting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to travel statewide and nationally as required.
