Regional IT Domain Lead

We’re currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Regional IT Domain Lead to join our growing team. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Regional IT Domain Lead will be responsible for the IT business relationship within PVM’s Operating Companies & Regional business. This role will be focused on realizing the domain business applications delivery, enabling the business to reach its short and long term objectives including necessary demand, resource and skills management on a functional domain (C&M/MF&SC/other). This will enable the PVM Blueprint (strategy), global and local business strategies through leveraging the Global IT Solutions function and thus ensuring value delivery on development of IT solutions for regional & local business needs.  This role will manage the relationship with regional & local IT partners and is responsible for contracting, licensing, and the vendor eco-system management within the guidance of the CIO office on the assigned functional domain. Additional responsibilities include:

• Contributes actively to the OC strategy and business capability strategic planning on a functional domain; Leads the development of the functional IT strategic plan and roadmap for OC’s and the region. Ensures integration with the company’s strategic planning process, and the resulting business strategy and plans.
• Establishes active relationships with the regional functional business owners and OC management teams and members of their teams on a domain. Contributes as a business executive. Acts as a trusted advisor to ensure all executive leaders and management can make confident decisions about the application of information and technology within their functional regional and OC responsibility.
• Ensures IT capabilities on a functional domain are delivered reliably, sustainably, cost effectively and securely within the global frameworks.
• Ensures the IT contributions on a functional domain are delivered with agility based on changing business objectives, goals and strategies.
• Collaborates with regional functional business owners and OC Management teams and business partners to define and execute the transformation strategy on a domain.
• Participates in and contributes to the assessment of external digital opportunities and threats, and internal technology capabilities required to achieve desired competitive positioning.
• Develops and controls annual operating and capital expenditure budget for regional & OC IT on the assigned domain to ensure the investment in technologies is consistent with companies’ overall strategic objectives and is within plan.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field required. Master’s degree preferred. IT management certificates (project management, ITIL, COBIT) preferred
• 15+ years professional IT (management) experience, 8+ years (team/line) management and coaching experience required
• 10+ years of experience in managing relationships with internal business customers, resource Management, and supplier relationship management
• Past experience of IT project delivery & previous program management experience is a plus
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and collaboration skills with focus on the customer
• Experience with demand management; Own and maintain the Demand/Supply forecast, establishing priorities, and ensure that the demand is in line with agreed IT investment & operating plan
• Identify demand conflicts, recommending escalation of them where appropriate for resolution, and for balancing the requests for new work with the current workload
• Strong analytical and planning skills
• Experience of managing relationships with internal business customers
• Expert knowledge of procurement and contract negotiation with proven negotiation skills
