About the role

Description

• Manage and coordinate maintenance team to optimize their performance, motivation and development.

• Attend meetings with customer. 

• Prepare presentations and reports for management and customer.

• Support the maintenance team in questions and incidences.

• Systematically evaluate the development and performance of team members, establish goals and development plans with them.

• Balance and monitor the workload of the team to ensure the achievement of the goals in a quality and timely manner.

• Plan and supervise predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance work, ensuring the proper functioning and safety of lines and installations. 

• Plan predictive and preventive maintenance tasks. 

• Prioritize corrective maintenance tasks by repairing urgent breakdowns.

• Coordinate maintenance work with affected departments. 

• Assign maintenance tasks to operators and/or external companies. 

• Control preventive and corrective maintenance tasks performed by operators and external companies.

• Update the schedule for preventive maintenance tasks.

• Manage documentation for maintenance tasks.

• Document maintenance objectives and periodically review them, establishing action plans where objectives are not met.

• Implement continuous improvement actions to resolve incidents or improve the efficiency of lines and facilities.

• Analyze repetitive breakdowns in machinery and facilities and implement improvement solutions.

• Ensure the availability of spare parts and resources for the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

• Define the necessary stock of spare parts and resources.

• Request quotes from suppliers of spare parts and resources.

• Initiate the purchase of spare parts and resources.

• Address complaints from maintenance suppliers.

• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and maintain product quality.

• Collect and analyze data related to equipment performance and maintenance KPIs.

• Develop and maintain process performance metrics and reports.

• Monitor equipment performance and reliability and implement preventive maintenance plans.

• Troubleshoot equipment-related issues and implement solutions.

• Create and maintain maintenance documentation, including Preventive maintenance routines or maintenance procedures.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities through equipment improvements, efficiency gains and spare parts analysis.

• Additional responsibilities and activities may be added on a needy basis, as assigned by management.

Requirements

• 2-year technical degree

• 3 years of experience supervising or management position

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong preference for automotive industry experience.

• Experience with machine commissioning.


Additional Knowledge Valuable for the Position:

• 4-year degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred).

• Strong problem-solving skills, team-oriented approach, and a commitment to quality.

• Analytical and conceptual thinking – using logic and reason.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Atlas Copco assembly tools and software.

• Fanuc.

• Siemens TIA Portal.

• Ability to work within a team.
