GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The team at the Veterans' Home of Wyoming cottages (Skilled Nursing Facility) is looking for a caring and motivated individual to assist in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment. This individual must be a flexible team player willing and able to use their skills at the Assisted Living Facility as well. This beautiful new home is at the base of the Big Horn Mountains, which provide many outdoor recreation opportunities! Apply today!

Duties May Include the Following For Housekeeping:
- Cleans and restocks resident rooms
- Cleans and disinfects all public areas, including carpets, handrails, doors, windows, trash cans, and light fixtures
- Cleans bathrooms.
- Gathers trash.
- Determines appropriate chemical solutions for cleaning and disinfection.
- Assists with laundry services, including sorting, drying, and distributing.
- Assure cottages have a supply of clean linens, cleaning supplies, and trash bags.
- Assists with scheduled, comprehensive cleaning of dining room area
Examples of duties
PREFERENCES:
Preference may be given to applicants who have a minimum of 6 months of long-term care experience.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and practices.
- Knowledge of cleansers, supplies, and equipment.
- Knowledge of basic math.
- Knowledge of state and facility policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of universal precautions.
- Knowledge of emergency procedures, cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
- Knowledge of infection control standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School Diploma
Experience:
0-6 months of progressive work experience (typically in Housekeeping)
OR
Education & Experience Substitution:
1-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Housekeeping)
