SPACES COORDINATOR (FULL TIME)

  

 

• We have an opening for a full-time SPACES COORDINATOR position.
• Location: Shopify - 131 Greene Street, New York, NY 10012 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time schedule. Friday - Thursday, hours may vary. Weekend and evenings are a must. More details upon interview. 
• Requirement: Previous Brand Ambassador, POS, retail, event coordination, and/or clerical experience required. Must have ServSafe (DOH).
• Perks: POS and ServSafe training can be provided! Overtime on an as needed basis!
• Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour.

 

Additional Responsibilities:

• Facilitate event set-up and breakdown
• Prepare inventory and fulfillment stations for events
• Ensure that the open floor is cleared of packages and clutter and that the retail space is merchandised with Shopify Supply and Evergreen merch.
• Ensure that the space presentation monitors and projectors are on and presenting the current activation information
• Greet and check in customers (incl. walk-ins, and event attendees) as well as visiting Shopify staff
• Assist customers with basic requests e.g. brief tours of the Space, introductions to services offered on-site, introductions to current retail activations
• Provide answers to basic customer questions about Shopify/Shopify products and/or direct customers to relevant team members or resources as needed
• Handle customer purchases of goods sold on-site using Shopify point-of-sale hardware in adherence with relevant processes/policies
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic payment and inventory issues, and address customer questions/concerns
• Receive and Sort Mail and Packages; Work with the Cafe & Operations Manager to manage inventory.
