Patient Services Representative - Outpatient Therapy

Job Purpose: 

To create a welcoming environment and to provide support to patients, families, and the outpatient therapy and clinic teams while taking care of daily tasks to create a seamless workflow throughout the department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Answers all incoming calls at front desk; reschedules patient appointments, dispatches calls for employees, while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.

Maintains front office space including fax machine, printer, and other supplies.

Maintains up to date information for families in EMR, accepts payments from families.

Communicates with patients, patient families, and co-workers in a professional manner at all times.

Qualifications: 

Education:

High school graduate or GED with specialized training. Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English required.
