FTE: 32 hrs/wk, Shift: Day 9:00am-5:30pm, Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday
The Intensive Community Support and Recovery Program (ICSRP) is dedicated to helping adults with chronic and persistent mental illnesses, including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, live meaningful and stable lives within their communities.
Our multidisciplinary team provides intensive case management, individual therapy, medication support, crisis intervention, and care coordination through a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed approach. We partner with clients to build on their strengths, develop practical life skills, access essential resources, and overcome barriers to recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with physician orders, agency policies, and applicable regulations.
Complete timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation, including progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, and treatment updates.
Conduct clinical assessments and provide therapeutic interventions based on clients' individual needs and treatment goals.
Utilize de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention strategies to maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment.
Facilitate weekly therapeutic groups using evidence-based, recovery-oriented practices.
Provide ongoing case management services, including care coordination, treatment planning, referrals, resource linkage, and client advocacy for an assigned caseload.
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting independence, dignity, and recovery.
Monitor clients' mental and physical health status, report significant changes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure appropriate care.
Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients through a trauma-informed, person-centered approach.
Collaborate with medical providers, therapists, case managers, and community partners to ensure comprehensive and coordinated client care.
Position Summary
The Mental Health Therapist is a vital role at MultiCare, responsible for the delivery of clinical counseling and case management services. From patient advocacy to therapeutic interventions, this position will offer you dynamic engagements in your daily work functions.Responsibilities:
You will provide person-centered counseling, advocacy and case management for patients
You will develop treatment plans which clearly identify the patient’s voice, treatment strategies, and specific outcome measures
You meet agency documentation standards
You will meet authorization requirements of contracts
You will strategically tailor effective clinical/case management services to meet diverse patient needs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health related field required; Master's degree preferred
Washington State Counselor Agency Affiliated Registered (ACCR) credential must be applied for within thirty (30) days of hire. Employees may work while the application is pending for up to one hundred twenty (120) days, unless a higher credential is already held:
Current Washington state driver’s license or obtained within 30-days of relocating to Washington
proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a
motor vehicle report from the appropriate state requiredPrevious experience providing mental health counseling services preferred
