Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Patient Safety, the Patient Safety Program Manager-RN assists in the functions of and furthers the mission of the department. The focus of the Patient Safety Program Manager-RN's role is direct involvement in improving the quality and safety of care through education, risk assessment and performance improvement activities.

Education:
Current RN licensure required. BSN required. Master's degree in a nursing related field required. Certification in Nurse Leadership (CNL) is preferred.
Experience:
Must have 5-10 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting, and 3-5 years experience in patient safety improvement in a complex healthcare environment. Must have significant experience with data review, manipulation and analysis. Must be a skilled facilitator using quality improvement methodologies to improve patient safety. Must have 2+ years of experience as a clinical educator/clinical preceptor.Ā
