WPI is looking for an ideal candidate who would support WPI’s research initiatives by providing faculty and students with a wide range of AI-related skill sets in managing and organizing both structured and unstructured data, through experiments, by instruments, and computationally. The candidate should have experience with AI technologies such as machine learning, large language models, and natural language processing, in addition to a strong HPC background.WPI is passionate about creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity. JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement AI and machine learning algorithms to analyze and interpret research data.
• Collaborate with faculty and researchers to identify opportunities to apply AI techniques to enhance research outcomes.
• Collaborate with faculty and researchers to identify opportunities to apply AI techniques to enhance research outcomes.
• Develop and deliver training programs to help faculty and researchers effectively use AI tools and techniques in their research.
• Assists users with CUDA, Slurm and other HPC technologies.
• Build analytical tools and customized interfaces and methods that can handle large data sets.
Requirements:
• MS in Data Science, Computer Science, or related science disciplines with a research focus.
• 3 years of experience.
