Description

We are now seeking a Security Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities

·       Oversee project security to ensure compliance with contract requirements and all applicable laws and regulations. 

·       Conduct continuous monitoring of our networks/systems for incidents and vulnerabilities.

·       Create and analyze security policies and procedures to determine weakness in infrastructure security and complete a thorough audit of existing measures

·       Anticipate data breaches by ethically hacking into the company's secure systems while determining future flaws and their prevention.  Duties can include vulnerability assessment, security audits, penetration testing, and security incident reporting recommendations.

·       Monitor network traffic as an intrusion prevention specialist to detect possible threats and respond to threats immediately as they occur

·       Minimize negative impact of security breach by shifting security measures for future prevention and creating information assurance and firewalls

·       Assist in developing and implementing security incident response planning.

·       Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness training for staff.

·       Continuous learning to stay informed on latest security technologies, threats, or trends.

Requirements

Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree with 4 years of work experience or Associate's degree with 6 years of experience or High School diploma with 8 years of experience.

·       Four years' experience working with technical security strategies at a senior level or above

·       Working knowledge of CompTIA Network+ to ensure skills in configuring networks as well as designing and troubleshooting

·       Thorough understanding of web development, HTTP, HTML, and application security

·       Must be an excellent communicator and speaker both in front of large groups of team members and in written interactions

·       Must have strong understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection and prevention.

·       Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Security or related field.

·       CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or comparable equivalent is preferred.

·       Familiarity with HIPAA.

·       Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices is ideal.
