Position overview:

The Director, Demand Planning & SIOP is responsible for all demand planning activities across North America.  The role is also responsible for the monthly SIOP process, from Demand through Executive Review cycle.

Main responsibilities:

The Director, Demand Planning & SIOP will be responsible of the following:

• Lead team of Senior Demand Planners and Demand Planners responsible for improving forecast accuracy and bias at the account level
• Responsible for North American SIOP Program, including hosting monthly meetings with Executive Leadership, and ensuring team members are adhering to the monthly process
• Develop demand segmentation process and recommend forecasting and fulfillment strategies based on findings
• Develop and maintain close relationship with sales teams to drive improved engagement and communication between groups to improve long-term forecast accuracy
• Develop advanced KPIs and Dashboards to monitor, analyze, and improve forecast accuracy
• Develop associates through hiring, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning
• Continuous improvement of forecasting & SIOP processes and systems

Skills and Qualifications:

• 10+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, SIOP and/or Demand Planning
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain or related field
• Prior experience leading monthly SIOP process a must
• Experience working with advanced forecasting tools and techniques required
• Experience working with large datasets preferred
• Proficient in Tableau, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access
• Knowledge of ToolsGroup Demand Planning software a plus
• Customer oriented with a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization and across all functional areas including at Executive levels
• Comfortable communicating and presenting to Executive Leadership
• Decision maker, ability to lead and communicate cross functionally throughout all levels of the organization
