Position Summary

Responsible for various Gift & Endowment accounting-related functions, while serving as a resource for policy and support for the School of Medicine.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review and process documentation/checks related to the establishment of new accounts.
  • Establish new accounts and maintain existing accounts in the financial information system.
  • Establish fund allocation accounts related to requested fund disbursements and overhead variance exceptions.
  • Process accounting entries to transfer fund balances and prepare pledge accrual entries.
  • Prepare quarterly variance analysis of pledge accruals.
  • Provide scholarship and other periodic reports to Central Administration.
  • Process the annual endowment and scholarships report to ensure that revenue is distributed appropriately.
  • Assist Central Administration with Gift & Endowment inquiries and prepare/review reporting as needed.
  • Communicate and answer department Gift & Endowment policy-related questions.

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
